Will Marrs - Governmental Services Group

Will Marrs began his career in politics as a door-to-door canvasser volunteering on various campaigns throughout the state of Missouri. He attended New York University, graduating with a B.A. in politics, and a minor in history. While at NYU he clerked in the Queens County District Attorney’s Office, moving on to law school shortly thereafter. Before beginning law school, he found himself as a Constituent Assistant, interning in the U.S. Senate.

While in law school he was a summer clerk for the Hon. Judge Doug Harpool of the U.S. District Court of Western Missouri. He was a summer associate for the law firm Morrow, Wilnauer & Church, LLC in Kansas City working there full-time upon graduating from the University of Missouri School of Law in 2017, earning his J.D.

For many years, Will worked with his father J. Scott Marrs reviewing the legal impact of legislation and forming relationships with many state representatives and senators. He learned what it means to be an upstanding lobbyist, representing clients to the best of your ability, and advocating for good policy at the state level.

During the 2018 legislative session Will left his law firm and moved to GSG full-time, taking over as the principal and Chief Consultant of Governmental Services Group.
